13. Use of Google Analytics
(1) This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. («Google»). Google Analytics uses what are known as «cookies», which are text files that are saved on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website will generally be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will, however, be truncated by Google beforehand within member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google uses this information to analyse your use of the website, to compile reports on website activities, and to provide the website operator with other services associated with use of the website and the internet.
(2) The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
(3) You can prevent cookies from being saved by making the appropriate settings in your browser software. However, please note that doing so may result in restricted use of the website’s functions. In addition, you can prevent Google from collecting and processing the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plug-in that is available via the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
(4) This website uses Google Analytics with the «_anonymizeIp()» function. This ensures IP addresses are truncated before they are processed, which rules out personal identification. Therefore, if the data collected about you enable personal identification, this is immediately excluded and the personal data erased.
(5) We use Google Analytics to analyse the use of our website so we can regularly improve it. The statistics gained in this way allow us to improve our offering and make it more interesting for you as a user. For the exceptional cases where personal data are transferred to the USA, Google has committed itself to the EU-US Privacy Shield, www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Art. 6, Para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Therefore, if the data collected about you enable personal identification, this is immediately excluded and the personal data erased.
14. Use of social media links
We currently use several links to various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest. These are simply links, not social media plugins. If you click one of the links, you will be taken to the respective website provider, to which your IP address will be transmitted. If you are logged in to the respective social media account at the time, the provider may sometimes be able to capture further data.
15. Use of social media plugins
(1) We currently use the following social media plugins: [Facebook, Twitter, Xing, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest]. In doing so, we use what is known as the ‘two-click solution’. That means that when you visit our website, no personal information is initially passed to the plugin providers. You can identify the plugin providers from the marking on the box containing their initial letter or logo. We offer you the opportunity to communicate directly with the plugin provider via the button. Only if you click and activate the marked field will the plugin provider be notified that you have accessed the corresponding page of our website. The data collated during your visit to our website will also be transmitted. According to the respective providers, in the case of Facebook and Xing, in Germany, the IP address is immediately anonymised upon data collection. By activating the plugin, personal data about you is therefore transmitted to the relevant plugin provider, where it is stored (in the USA in the case of American providers). As the plugin provider particularly collates data via cookies, we recommend that you use your browser’s security settings to delete all cookies before clicking the greyed-out box.
(2) We have no influence over what data is collated or how it is processed. Nor are we aware of the full extent of the data collection, the purposes of the data processing or the retention periods. We also have no information about the deletion of the data collated by the plugin provider.
(3) The plugin provider saves the data collated about you as a user profile and uses it for advertising purposes, market research and/or to tailor its website design to your needs. Such analyses particularly occur (including for users who are not logged in) to display demand-oriented advertisements and notify other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, to which end you must contact the relevant plugin provider. By offering the plugins, we give you the opportunity to interact with the social networks and other users so that we can improve our website and make it of more interest to you as a user. The legal basis for the use of the plugins is point (f) of Article 6(1) GDPR.
(4) Data transfer occurs regardless of whether you have an account with the plugin provider or are logged in with it. If you are logged in with the plugin provider, the data collated by us is directly assigned to your account with the plugin provider. If you click the activated button and, e.g. link to the page, the plugin provider will also store this information in your user account and publicly share it with your contacts. We recommend that you regularly log out after using a social network, but in particular before activating the button as this enables you to prevent the plugin provider being able to assign information to your profile.
(5) Further information about the purpose and scope of data collection and processing by the plugin providers can be found in the privacy policies from these providers detailed below. The links also provide further information about your related rights and the setting options for protecting your privacy.

17. Integration of Google Maps
(1) Your visit to the website tells Google that you have accessed the relevant subpage of our website. This happens regardless of whether you are logged into a user account provided by Google or whether or not a user account even exists. If you are logged into Google, your data will be linked directly to your account. If you do not want your data to be linked to your Google profile, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data in the form of user profiles for the purposes of advertising and market research and/or to tailor its website to user needs. A key purpose of this sort of analysis (even in the case of users who are not logged in) is to provide needs-based advertising and to tell other social network users about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles. However, you must contact Google in order to exercise this right.
(2) For further information about why the plug-in provider collects and processes data, and to what extent, please refer to the provider’s data privacy policies. There, you will also find further information about your rights in this respect and the settings you can change to protect your privacy: www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy. Google also processes your personal data in the USA and has committed itself to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.
18. ReCAPTCHA
We use reCAPTCHA to check whether data entries on our website are made by humans or improperly by automated, machine processing. This analysis starts automatically when the website visitor accesses the website. ReCAPTCHA evaluates various pieces of information for analysis purposes. The data captured during the analysis is forwarded to Google. Google uses the following data to check whether you are a human or a computer: IP address, the web page you are visiting on our site and into which the captcha is integrated, the date and duration of the visit, the browser and operating system types used, Google account if you are logged in to Google, mouse movements and tasks in which you have to identify images. However, your IP address will be truncated by Google within the European Union Member States or other signatory states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before its transmission. Only on exceptions will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA and then truncated. Google will use this information on behalf of this website’s operator to analyse your use of this service. The IP address transmitted from your browser within the scope of reCAPTCHA will not be consolidated with other data from Google. The legal basis for the data processing described is point (f) of Article 6(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its web services against improper, automated spying and SPAM. Further information about Google Inc.’s privacy policies can be found at http://www.google.com/intl/en/privacy or https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/

20. Content-Delivery-Network Cloudflare
To integrate scripts and libraries on our website, we use a Content Delivery Network (CDN) from Cloudflare, Inc. 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, California 94107, USA («Cloudflare»). In a content delivery network, the content of our website is stored on the service provider’s server, which distributes this content to you or your browser via a network of regional servers when you access the website. The purpose of this is to better ward off attacks, e.g. DDos attacks, on our website as well as to make the contents of our pages available to you quickly and optimally in cases where there are large amounts of script and data.
Since the data traffic of our website runs over Cloudfare servers, your IP address is also transmitted to Cloudflare. Cloudflare is certified according to the US-Privacy-Shield and thus guarantees data processing according to the GDPR.
The legal basis for our use of Cloudflare is Art. 6 I (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest arises from the fact that, using the service, we can take security measures against attacks on our website and large amounts of data can be delivered in an optimised manner. The interference with your fundamental freedoms is minimal, since Cloudflare guarantees the data protection level according to the GDPR.
